Relationships Matter
It seems obvious - yes, relationships matter. But in a world overloaded with information, experts on every side of every issue with data supporting their arguments, something has to cut through the noise. Relationships are the beacons guiding us on our journeys.
Relationships drive everything at Advocatus. When we partner with our clients, the first conversation doesn’t start with the client’s goals, though those are important. It starts with the client’s expectations for their relationship with Advocatus. Then from there we, as partners, can move forward co-creating a menu of strategies and tactics to achieve a client’s goals.
Advocatus has three primary practice areas: government relations, education, and communications.
Our firm’s twenty years of relationships and experience working with South Carolina local and state governments, plus the South Carolina federal delegation, provides clients the access to conversations and discussions needed to achieve their government relations goals.
We’re adept at writing legislative text, delivering or preparing public testimony, and planning for multiple pathways to achieve a client’s goals. Whatever your public policy or procurement interest, Advocatus can meet a client’s needs.
Education, from early childhood to K-12; postsecondary to workforce development, is at the forefront in communities and states across the nation. Advocatus has over a decade of experience as a regulator, a public policy advocate, and executive team leader of high-growth service providers to education and learning institutions.
Our firm has experience in every state’s education system and the several federal agencies that fund or regulate education and workforce development. Advocatus can partner with clients on their go-to-market strategies, their organizational design, public policy needs, and connect clients with influencers who can raise brand, category, and issue awareness. Our firm can support any education or learning organization, in any space, anywhere in the United States.
Communications consulting can be nebulous for clients. Advocatus has two clear and distinct focus areas: external communications and internal communications. Our firm’s twenty years of relationships with all kinds of media organizations allows us to serve a client’s external communications needs: news releases, media training, interview preparation, and content writing for external audiences.
Our experience working inside large and complex national organizations allows us to help clients refine their internal communications: employee communications, process documents, newsletters, and change management communications.
Advocatus has an open door policy and we welcome conversations with potential clients at their discretion. The relationships with our clients will always come first; our client’s success is our firm’s success. Contact Advocatus today to start a conversation.
